Wow. You are the best. Sounds like you did your thing. I wish I could have seen it. I am assuming that since you said you were the only white person and only male, that it was a primarily black audience. I wish I could have seen you do your thing and watch that audience respond. I think I saw an interview you did where you said “my people” (maybe on Tyra) but I know they must have gone through the roof watching you tear it up! Any chance of footage of you doing it for real?

Sam, you might want to try a “Diva Tag” at some performance.
You and your favorite diva sing your favorite diva song – but not as a duet. At any point in the song, one of you taps the other, who then tries to jump right in and continue without a break. It gets pretty interesting when the tap comes in the middle of a big note… or a big riff.
I’ve collected three examples from YT – find them by googling “thebestarts diva tag.”
